PLLA injections are a natural way to restore lost facial collagen. It contains poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), a substance that belongs to the alpha-hydroxy acid group. Poly-L-lactic acid is a synthetic polymer that PLLAFIler can be used as a facial filler for cosmetic purposes or for medical purposes to restore and correct signs of facial imperfections in patients. Poly-L-lactic acid is a biocompatible and biodegradable polymer. Fillers are available in powder vials and must be reconstituted with 5 ml of sterile water for injection to form a sterile, pyrogen-free suspension before use.
